Ann had prayed. She had fasted.
Yet month after month, year after year, she watched friends walk down the aisle and siblings welcome children. The world seemed to move… except her.
Every “When is your turn?” stung a little more. She had spent the last decade of her single season building a thriving career and serving faithfully in her local assembly, yet her marriage miracle hadn’t appeared.
One quiet morning, she knelt with an open heart and whispered,”
Lord, I’m ready. I want Your best. I don’t know what to do.”
In the stillness, a scripture came to mind:Deuteronomy 1:6
She reached out for her bible to read it.
"You have stayed long enough at this mountain.”— Deuteronomy 1:6
Ann’s heart skipped. “Yes, Lord, I’ve waited so long… what are You saying?”
Another verse followed, dropping like a flash in her spirit:
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”— Isaiah 30:21
Later that evening, her phone buzzed.
A message from Tommy, an old friend:”Ann, I just joined this singles’ mentoring program and your name came to me immediately. You have to see this.I am sending you the link right away.’’
As she pondered on the message, the scriptures she got on the morning flashed back.‘Abba, is this it?’ Ann checked the link again. ‘Abba, is this it? My teacher is here, right?’
She obeyed and registered immediately.
That was it.
That was it.
The clarity she needed. The answers that made her wait worthwhile and brought her marriage miracle.
